Clean Monday in majestic Cyprus

Meeting at Macedonia airport at 17.00 pm and flight to Cyprus (19.00 pm) with our destination being Larnaca. Arrival, transfer and check-in at our hotel, where there will be a welcome drink for all travelers. Then we will have our first acquaintance with the city, walking along the coastal coast with the famous Finikoudes and the numerous restaurants and bars. Return to our hotel

After we have our breakfast, we will start our tour to discover the sunny Larnaca, a city full of history and natural beauty. For example, we will visit the church of Saint Lazarus where the relics of the Saint are located, the Medieval castle and then we will tour the picturesque shopping center of the city both for the necessary purchases and for a coffee in the traditional haunts of the area. After noon, free time to rest or stay in the city center with its countless shops. In the evening, we will have the opportunity to experience the Cypriot hospitality and taste the traditional mezes in a local traditional restaurant of Larnaca with live music. After dinner, return to our hotel

After our breakfast we will depart for our full day excursion to the European Capital of Culture 2017, the beautiful Paphos. We will have the opportunity to get to know the rich cultural heritage of the city through the monuments, the archaeological sites and the city museum. We will tour the ancient market with its 40 columns and the archaeological park where the museum dominates with the beautiful mosaics of the Hellenistic period. We will continue our route to the Fortress of the city and the house of Dionysos, a Roman-type Hellenistic building of the 2nd century BC. Afterwards we will have our lunch at a local restaurant. Immediately after, we will depart for charming Limassol. There, we will have a bus tour and then head to the city's imposing marina where there will be free time for shopping or coffee. In the late afternoon, we will make our way back to Larnaca.

After we have our breakfast, we depart for the Cypriot countryside where we will celebrate Clean Monday and the traditional "Koulouma". We will have the opportunity to try the local Lenten mezes, the classic "lagana" and have fun in the company of local clubs. Immediately after the events, we will depart for Larnaca airport with the best memories of beautiful Cyprus! Flight to Thessaloniki with our scheduled flight (17:00 – 18:45)
