The panorama of Poland is diverse, with a variety of landscapes, cultures, and historical sites. The country is known for its picturesque mountains, many lakes and rivers, and is rich in cultural heritage and history, with many ancient cities and towns, including Krakow, Gdansk, and Wroclaw. These cities are home to many historic landmarks, such as the Wawel Castle in Krakow, the Old Town of Gdansk, and the Gothic-style St. Elizabeth's Church in Wroclaw.

Day 1: Thessaloniki – Krakow – Czestochowa – Warsaw

Meeting at the airport and boarding the plane for our direct flight to Krakow. Arrival and immediately we will depart for the holy city - religious center of Poland Czestochowa. In the monastery of Yasna Gora or otherwise "Bright Mountain" located in the city, we will visit the chapel of the monastery, where we will admire the "Black Madonna". The painting of the Black Virgin of Częstochowa is the largest religious relic of Roman Catholic Poland, it is a very old Byzantine icon of the Virgin Mary, which due to its antiquity has a black color, from which it got its name. Immediately afterwards we continue to Warsaw. Arrival and check-in at our hotel. In the evening free time for a walk in the historical center of Warsaw always accompanied by our leader

Day 2: Warsaw

Breakfast followed by a guided tour of the most important sights of the historic city surrounded by the old fortifications. We will see, among others, the central market square, the Royal Palace, a very good example of baroque architecture, which now functions as a Museum and the seat of the Seim Parliament, the palace and the Castle square Plac Zamkowy, among the few places that were saved from the Nazi rampage, the monumental Palace of Culture and Science, Stalin's gift to Warsaw, the Wielki Grand Theatre, home to opera and ballet, the Baroque Krasinski Palace, considered one of the city's most beautiful buildings, the Royal Gardens, the Jewish Ghetto , the home of Marie Kozlofka Curie, who was awarded the Nobel Prize, the statue of Frédéric Chopin, which adorns the gardens of the Lazienski Palace. In your free time, we suggest you visit the recently renovated Bracia Jablowscy Department Store, with many modern brands, or enjoy your coffee at the well-known Blickl cafe or the popular Emil Wedel patisserie. You can still walk along the west bank of the Vistula River, in the area of the Royal Road. In the evening we recommend a meal at a local restaurant to try the epitome of Polish cuisine, Bigos, also known as hunter's stew.

Day 3: Warsaw – Auschwitz – Krakow

Breakfast and we continue to Auschwitz. Arrival and immediately we will visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau museum, one of the largest Nazi concentration camps, where more than 2 million people died during World War II. Then we will depart for Krakow. Arrival and check-in at our hotel. In the afternoon free time for a first acquaintance with the city always accompanied by our leader.

Day 4: Krakow - Wieliczka

Breakfast followed by a sightseeing tour of the city, including the impressive Royal Castle on Babel Hill, the Cathedral with the Royal Tombs and the Bell, the Jagiellonian University, the large medieval square with the Mariatski Church dedicated to the Virgin Mary . In the square we will also see the renaissance Sukienice building, around which the city bazaar used to take place. Today, many exhibitions and outdoor bazaars are organized.

Free time for coffee and food and then we will optionally depart for the Wieliczka Salt Mines. Its salt mines are today the living proof of our beautiful and special world. In its subterranean galleries, several hundreds of meters below the surface of the earth, we will see whole churches carved on the salt, concert halls, effigies of Jesus, benches, Holy Tables that are all made and carved on the salt. Free time and return to our hotel.

Day 5: Krakow - Thessaloniki
Day 5: Krakow - Thessaloniki

Breakfast and free time in the Old Town of Krakow for the last pictures of the beautiful medieval city. We will then depart for the airport and return flight.
