The Venice Carnival is an annual festival held in Venice, Italy, in the weeks leading up to Ash Wednesday. It is known for its elaborate masks and costumes, as well as its parties, parades, and other events. The carnival dates back to the 12th century and was once one of the most important events in Europe. Today, it draws visitors from around the world and is considered one of the most famous carnivals in the world.

Meeting at the airport and flight with Ryanair to Treviso. Departure for the student town of Padova, perhaps the oldest city in northern Italy, according to the date of its foundation in the 12th century BC. from the Trojans. We see its famous university, one of the oldest in Europe, the magnificent Basilica of Saint Anthony with its Byzantine domes and the luxurious interior decoration which is considered one of the most important places of worship in Italy. We continue to the second largest square in Europe, Prato della Valle (elliptical square 88000 sq.m.). Free time and transfer and accommodation in Marghera, at the Mercure Venezia Marghera 4* hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Tronchetto, from where we depart by vaporetto for the famous Piazza San Marco, "the most beautiful salon in Europe" according to Napoleon. We see the homonymous church with its five domes, the Doge's Palace, the Clock Tower, the famous Bridge of Sighs and end up at one of the few Murano manufacturing workshops. Late afternoon return to our hotel

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Venice to watch in St. Mark's square the biggest celebration of the carnival, the great parade of the carnivalists. Free time. Late afternoon return to our hotel

Day 4: Treviso - Thessaloniki

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the "city of water", Treviso. Beautiful canals, picturesque squares and medieval buildings compose a magical image and promise a unique travel experience. The city is surrounded by Venetian walls dating back to 1515. The northern entrance to the city, the marble Porta San Tomaso, is decorated with a winged lion. In the afternoon transfer to the city airport for our return flight.
