Opis

Home of sumo and judo, sushi and sake, samurai and geisha, Honda and Toyota. Japan consists of 3,000 islands, of which the largest and best known are Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu. Japan is the land of great contrasts... It combines modern megacities with beautiful natural landscapes, while each region has something special to offer, enthralling its visitors. Most of the country's islands are mountainous, while several are volcanic.Japan has a population of 128 million inhabitants, while Tokyo alone, together with its suburbs, is the largest metropolis in the world, with a population of almost 30 million inhabitants! One of the most fascinating aspects of Japan is its diversity vis-à-vis the West. Although in recent years it has not avoided Western influences, the country still remains faithful to its traditions.
